Guillermo del Toro announced some exciting new ventures at the Guadalajara International Film Festival this weekend.

The acclaimed filmmaker is having an amazing year, with The Shape of Water being beloved by critics and audiences alike. The film recently earned four Oscar awards, including “Best Picture” and del Toro’s own, “Best Director.”

During a trip to his home city for the Guadalajara International Film Festival, del Toro announced that he’d be spreading his good fortune in a number of ways, THR reports.

First of all, del Toro taught some free master classes at the festival. During the first class, the Film Festival opened a new cinema named after the filmmaker, and announced the beginning of the Jenkins-Del Toro International Film Scholarship.

The $60,000 scholarship will be awarded annually to an aspiring Mexican filmmaker. The lucky awardee will study abroad at a renowned film school.

The final announcement that del Toro made at the Guadalajara International Film Festival was that his “At Home with Monsters” museum exhibit will be coming to both Guadalajara and Mexico City in 2019. The exhibit includes paintings, drawings, and other pieces from del Toro’s movies, and was featured at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art in 2016.
