Arya advances in her deadly art while southron politics grow increasingly unstable on Game of Thrones season 5, episode 6.
The episode, titled “Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken” – the words of House Martell – will also raise the stakes in Kings Landing. As Littlefinger returns to the city, tensions spike between the Lannisters, and the Tyrells… and of course, the Faith Militant.
On last week’s episode of Game of Thrones, Dany indulged in violent retribution after the death of Ser Barristan, but soon switched tactics and decided to open the fighting pits of Meereen… and marry Hizdahr zo Loraq. At the Wall, Jon Snow angered the Watch when he convinced Tormund to rescue the wildlings at Hardhome – as long as Jon came with him.

Meanwhile, Stannis began his march to Winterfell, where Sansa finally collided with Theon. Ramsay continued to be disturbing, but Roose encouraged his son to join with him and “protect” the North from Stannis. And elsewhere in Essos, Tyrion and Jorah escaped the Stone Men of Valyria, but not before the knight contracted the dreaded greyscale.
A new featurette adds depth to many of the new characters, locations, and intense relationships which will continue to unfold on Game of Thrones season 5, episode 6.
The still photos from “Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken” introduce Nell Tiger Free as Myrcella Baratheon, and Toby Sebastian as her betrothed, Trystane Martell. The photos also make it clear how many dangers face the young lovers in Dorne.
