Dramateurs is a (potential) new TV series that follows the antics of a community theater in the small town of Pennsylvania, PA. Jesse Jerome is a dedicated amateur actor who suddenly finds himself in charge of directing the spring musical when the scheduled production of The Sound of Music is cancelled.

The pilot was written and produced on spec, and was shot with no budget. It was shot on location at The New Castle Playhouse in New Castle, PA and the actors and crew were all volunteers.
