Peyton Elizabeth Lee is ready to scrub in in an all new first look for the upcoming Disney+ series Doogie Kamealoha, M.D.
Described as a reboot of the iconic Doogie Howser television series, the medical sitcom is set in Hawaii and follows a mixed race 16-year-old girl named Lahela “Doogie” Kameāloha (Andi Mack vet Peyton Elizabeth Lee). In addition to working her way through the trials and tribulations of adolescence, she’ll also find herself trying to balance life as a teenager with her budding medical career.
Lahela’s Irish mother also happens to be her supervisor at the hospital. Meanwhile, the series also plans to tackle the way her Hawaiian father grapples with accepting the fact that his daughter is growing up.
