Loki is coming to shake things up on Disney+ starting with the Marvel series’ newly announced release date!
Diehard fans of the God of Mischief might want to start clearing their Wednesdays.
Today (May 5), Disney+ announced that its highly anticipated Marvel series, Loki, will officially be premiering on Wednesday, June 9.
In a bit of a bold move, the streamer also revealed that all episodes of the forthcoming limited series would officially be dropping on Wednesdays in lieu of the traditional Fridays.
Tom Hiddleston himself was on hand to deliver the exciting news to fans far and wide in the form of a video message, which you can watch below.
“I’ve noticed that in these long superhero montages Loki tends to get a bit left out even though, arguably, he’s incredibly heroic himself. Cunning, charming, I could go on but maybe, why don’t I just prove it to you,” says Hiddleston in the premiere date announcement. “Wednesdays are the new Fridays.”
