Marvel dropped a bunch of character posters for Captain Marvel, and one special one celebrates Goose, Carol’s beloved alien cat.
To celebrate being 50 days out from the release of Captain Marvel, Marvel decided to release several posters featuring the characters we can expect to see in the film. Naturally, these were just posters so we didn’t get any new information about the characters or the movie itself. However, we can’t help but get pumped about them.
Of course, we are given looks at Carol Danvers, aka Captain Marvel, as well as a young Nick Fury and a young Agent Coulson.
The posters also show us a better look at Jude Law’s character, Annette Benning’s character (who still hasn’t been named, but her leather jacket is giving us pilot vibes), Gemma Chan as Dr. Minerva, Djimon Hounsou as Korath, Lashana Lynch as Maria Rambeau, and Ben Mendelson as Talos, the leader of the Skrulls.
Talos is clearly donning a human disguise, but we’re not sure exactly what role he’s assumed. Judging by the holster he’s wearing, we’re guessing he’s taken on some law enforcement role, but we’ll have to wait for the movie to know for sure.
And sure all of these posters are pretty important and awesome. However, Marvel knows who the real hero of Captain Marvel is, and made sure to release a poster to celebrate this very important character. Yes, we even got a poster of Carol’s beloved, Flerken cat, Goose.
These posters have got us so excited for Captain Marvel to release in theaters. The MCU is going to be changed irrevocably when we meet Carol Danvers, and we can’t wait to see what she brings to Marvel and how she’ll carry the MCU into life after Avengers: Endgame.
Captain Marvel opens in theaters on March 8.
