Brooklyn Nine-Nine season 3 returns tonight with episode 11, “Hostage Situation,” where we’ll see guest star Kathryn Hahn as Charles’ ex-wife, Eleanor.
It’s a new year, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine has a new time. Tuesdays at 9 p.m. will now be just a little bit funnier. The 2016 premiere brings us Charles’ ex-wife, Eleanor, and our first guest star of the second half of season 3. Kathryn Hahn has appeared in many recognizable movies and TV shows, including How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Transparent, and Parks and Recreation.
We can’t wait to see how she uproots Charles and Genevieve’s plans to upgrade their relationship. Kathryn’s comedic chops will definitely stand up well against the craziness that usually makes up an episode of Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
We are most excited to watch Brooklyn Nine-Nine on its all new night surrounded by its comedy brethren. Tuesday nights are soon to be the hysterical block of fun they were just a year or so ago when The Mindy Project and New Girl were Brooklyn Nine-Nine‘s neighbors. Now Grandfathered and The Grinder will be completing the comedy block, and we couldn’t be happier.
Check out the synopsis and stills for tonight’s episode, and make sure to tune in at 9 p.m. when Brooklyn Nine-Nine season 3 kicks off with its mid-season premiere. We can’t wait to see what Jake, Amy and all the rest have been up to since we saw them last.
“Charles and Genevieve (guest star Mary Lynn Rajskub) want to take their relationship to a new level, but his ex-wife, Eleanor (guest star Kathryn Hahn), steamrolls their plans. Meanwhile, Amy asks Terry to write a recommendation letter with disastrous results, and Holt and Rosa enlist Gina’s help to solve a case in the all-new ‘Hostage Situation’ time period Premiere episode of Brooklyn Nine-Nine.”
