It looks like Shondaland is making some big moves with their new series. According to Deadline the new legal drama, For The People, has recast its lead and will now be starring Britt Robertson. Britne Oldford originally played the lead character in the pilot.
Robertson’s character is named Sandra, who is described as “sensible” and “fiercely intelligent and independent.” Some kind of injustice was committed against her family as a child, and drove Sandra to practice law.
The show is described as being set in the Southern District of New York Federal Court. The show focuses on, “brand-new lawyers working for both the defense and the prosecution as they handle the most high-profile and high-stakes cases in the country.”
