‘Avengers: Damage Control,’ new VR experience at The Void

Avengers: Damage Control, a new VR experience from Marvel Studios and ILMxLAB, has you working alongside Shuri to test new Iron Man suits.

After the events of Avengers: Endgame, things in the MCU are unlike ever before. But it doesn’t mean we can all settle back into life as we knew it. There is still an Earth that needs defending, and new, world-saving tech that needs testing.

That’s where we come in.

The new VR adventure from Marvel Studios and ILMxLAB has us working alongside Shuri to test out some new Iron Man suits. Marvel just released a new trailer for the experience, and you’ve got to check it out.

The VR experience was produced for The Void, which has brought us some other great, branded VR experiences like the Ghostbusters VR experience and the Star Wars VR experiences. And Avengers: Damage Control looks like it is going to be just as amazing as we’ve come to expect from VR at The Void.

Damage Control takes us all the way to Wakanda, where the brilliant Shuri needs help testing out new prototypes based on Iron Man’s suits. Shuri’s suits definitely give off some strong Tony Stark vibes, but you can see they’ve got a bit of her aesthetic flair in there, too.

However, this won’t just be a low-key testing session of some Stark/Shuri tech blends. No, as the official Void website states, “When an enemy from the past seeks to steal the technology, you’ll fight alongside some of your favorite Avengers like Doctor Strange, Wasp, Ant-Man and more to stop the attack before they unleash an oppressive new age upon the world.”

With Avengers: Damage Control, you’ll get to fight alongside some of your favorite heroes, and you’ll get to play a key part in saving the world. If that sounds like fun to you (and seriously, how can that not sound fun?), you can head over to the Void’s website to book tickets.

Tickets for Avengers: Damage Control will be available at select Void locations starting October 18, and will run for a limited time.
