The Avengers: Age of Ultron’s most reclusive character, The Vision, can be seen in the latest concept art from The Avengers’ sequel along with Iron Man, Hulk, and Captain America.
Yesterday Marvel officially released 16 new stills from Age of Ultron, but now we have some more exciting concept art from the film which gives us our best look at actor Paul Bettany as The Vision. Also included are some high-res shots of all the new suits for Iron Man, Black Widow, Hawkeye, and Captain America.
This concept art comes from the company Fathead, which specializes in creating massive posters for fans to display on their walls. While we’ve seen some concept art of The Vision before, this is definitely one of the best looks of the character yet. We also get some great looks at the other Avengers’ new suits.
The Avengers: Age of Ultron U.S. release date is set for May 1, 2015, with its follow-up being Avengers: Infinity War, which has been split into two parts and will be directed by Anthony and Joe Russo.
Whedon recently confirmed that he won’t be returning to direct either of the two Infinity War films, but didn’t say that he wouldn’t return for other Marvel films in the future.
Many hoped to see him in the directing chair for one of Marvel’s solo female superhero films, since he’s proven to have had success with similar projects in the past, but for now it seems Age of Ultron is the last time we’ll be seeing him working with Marvel until he takes some time away from the studio.
Let us know what you think of The Avengers: Age of Ultron’s new concept art, and whether you’re excited to see The Vision in some real footage. We look forward to seeing Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver on the big screen as well. We expect to see some TV spots to land online in the coming weeks.
