Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton’s battle to become President of the United States will be the subject of American Horror Story season 7.

The news was unveiled by series creator Ryan Murphy on Wednesday’s Watch What Happens Live!

“Well I don’t have a title, but the season we begin shooting in June, is going to be about the election that we just went through,” Murphy said. “So I think that will be interesting for a lot of people.”

Murphy was specifically asked if the series, which airs on FX, would have Donald Trump in the show. “Maybe,” he replied.

The timely subject matter could potentially mean big ratings for American Horror Story season 7. It’ll be the first time the show covers real events, too.

The internet has frequently made jokes regarding the terrible state of the real world by using the FX drama’s title. Now, it seems it’s all coming full circle.

Jessica Lange for Hillary Clinton? Alec Baldwin for Donald Trump? Andy Cohen didn’t press Murphy for more information, so it remains to be seen just how much of the election the series will cover. We also don’t know how close the season will stay to the truth, or what the focus will be (Hillary and Donald going at each other? Russia interfering? Bernie’s $27 donations?).

As we reported Tuesday, a miniseries about the election is also in the works from the makers of Zero Dark Thirty.

FX has not set an airdate for AHS season 7.
