Marvel’s highly anticipated WandaVision series on Disney+ finally has a premiere date!
Mark your calendars, Marvel fans— it looks like you can look forward to kicking off the new year with Vision and Scarlet Witch!
In a press release sent out on Thursday (November 12), Disney+ excitingly announced that its highly anticipated WandaVision series has been given a premiere date of January 15, 2021.
In addition, Marvel Studios took to Twitter to share a rather eerie new teaser teaser for the show, which wraps by debuting a brand new poster for the series.

The Marvel limited series, which has been in the works for quite some time now, finds actors Paul Bettany and Elizabeth Olsen reprising their Marvel Cinematic Universe roles as Wanda Maximoff (Olsen) and Vision (Bettany).
This time around, the superheroes aren’t fighting alongside their fellow Avengers. Instead, WandaVision picks back up with both super-powered beings as they find themselves living idealized suburban lives. Life might seem great on the surface, but it’s not long before the happy couple begin to suspect that everything is not what it seems to be.
WandaVison’s newly slated January 2021 release date finds the series having been only slightly delayed in the grand scheme of things. Originally at the beginning of the year, Disney+ had announced that it had planned to debut the Marvel series in December 2020.
While fans might have been hoping to spend Christmas with Wanda and Vision, we’re sure they won’t mind waiting just a few weeks longer before the first episode drops!
Directed by Matt Shankman and written by Jax Schaeffer, WandaVision debuts exclusively via Disney+ on January 15, 2021.
