13 Reasons Why star Katherine Langford has joined the cast of a highly anticipated Marvel entity.
According to The Wrap, Katherine Langford has officially joined the cast of the next installment of Marvel’s Avengers franchise.
Unfortunately, fans itching to find out who Langford will be playing in Avengers 4 will have to sit tight. Currently, details on her role are being kept under wraps.
That being said, the source who revealed the casting news to the outlet did say that she’s already shot all her scenes for the highly anticipated follow-up to Avengers: Infinity War.
The fact that Langford has shot all of her scenes isn’t too surprising to learn, especially given that the Russos took to Twitter earlier this month to tease that they’d officially wrapped filming on the fourth installment of the franchise in the form of a cryptic Tweet.
With the fate of many of our favorite heroes currently unknown thanks to Thanos, we’ll be curious to find out how Langford’s character will fit into the fold of what’s already been set up.
Langford, who gained notoriety for Netflix’s controversial 13 Reasons Why series, has had quite a busy year thus far.
In addition to reprising her role as Hannah Baker in 13 Reasons Why season 2, the actress kicked off 2018 by starring in the critically acclaimed YA adaptation, Love, Simon.
We also learned earlier this year that she’s gearing up to star in yet another Netflix entity called Cursed, where she’ll play a teenager named Nimue. Featuring characters made famous by Arthurian Legend, the series will follow Nimue on her destiny to become the legendary Lady of the Lake.
Avengers 4 is set to hit theaters in May of 2019.
