Into the Badlands was hoping to gain some recognition from the Emmys this year, but they were sorely disappointed. Here are some reactions to the snub.
If you’ve watched even a single episode of Into the Badlands, you’re well aware that this show is incredible on many, many levels. The cast and crew work tirelessly with limited recognition from the world at large (including its own network).
While Badlands deserves to be recognized in just about every category at the Emmys, the cast, crew, and fans were hoping that — at the very least — it could get a nomination for either stunt coordination or costuming. Neither of those nominations happened.
Here are some reactions from the main cast and crew members of Into the Badlands
‘Into the Badlands’ stars react to Emmy snub
I am happy for everyone that got nominated this year but I am not happy we got snubbed for Outstanding Stunt Coordination. Take a look at that list of nominees and see if this makes any sense. https://t.co/8J3KvBIdCv

Your show is so underrated. It is an incredible show. Wonderful cast. The fighting scenes are some of the best that I have ever seen. I love the plot. Itās like a chess game. https://t.co/hFptXzSVLD

Last, but not least, let’s leave off with this thought:
Awards are nice, but Buffy the Vampire Slayer (2 Emmys in 7 seasons, none for writing) was more influential on the current generation of working TV writers than nearly all of the shows that were showered with Emmys in the last 20 years.
