We’ve all wanted the opportunity to explore the Millennium Falcon, and in a new video released by Star Wars, we can get a tour from Lando himself, Donald Glover.
It’s been made pretty clear that the Millennium Falcon looked quite a bit different back when Lando Calrissian owned the famous ship. While we’ll always have nostalgic feelings for the days when Han and Chewie explored the galaxy in the Falcon together, the trailers for Solo: A Star Wars Story have gotten us excited to see the Millennium Falcon’s early days.

Of course, we all know that Lando ultimately turns over ownership of the Falcon to Han Solo, who makes some…unique decorating choices. So to ensure that we all can properly appreciate the days of Lando keeping the Falcon in its clean and pristine glory, Star Wars released a video that gives us a tour of the ship, led by Donald Glover.
Glover’s tour isn’t just fun, but it also gives us glimpses into parts of the Falcon that we’ve never seen before. Namely, we get to see Lando’s living quarters, we get a good glimpse at the bar Lando has on the Falcon, and most importantly, we see Lando’s cape closet.
Yes, Lando has an entire closet dedicated to his magnificent capes. It’s an utterly delightful thing to behold, and we love getting just a quick taste of Lando’s extensive, fantastic wardrobe.
But more important than the Cape Room, Donald Glover finishes off the tour with what is likely the most iconic part of the Millennium Falcon–the cockpit. Glover takes us into the ship’s cockpit and tosses out some truly impressive space tech terminology, directing our attention to the “sliders” and “light-up buttons.” Still, even though Glover might not know what every single slider and light-up button is used for in the Falcon, he knew where to find the most important part of the cockpit–the hyperdrive.
It’s a short and sweet tour that give us a lot of great glimpses into life on the Falcon, and Glover makes sure to take us to all of the best places that his beloved ship has to offer. We can’t wait to get to spend even more time in the Falcon with Lando and Han when Solo: A Star Wars Story hits theaters on May 25.
