Last night’s Big Game gave us a lot of exciting new trailers, so you might have missed one of the most delightful parts of the night: Deadpool live-tweeting the entire affair.
The Twitter for the Deadpool movie has done a great job since the film’s 2016 release of channeling the superhero into the social media account. However, things were kicked up to a whole new level last night during the Super Bowl when he live-tweeted the entire game.

Mr. Pool started off the event addressing the elephant in the room: that Deadpool 2 wasn’t getting a Super Bowl commercial spot, opting for a Big Game live tweet session instead.
Remember that time I was wrist-deep in cocoa butter and Fox called to say they were too cheap to buy a spot in the big game then told me I had to live tweet it? Cause I do… #DPtheSB #SBLII https://t.co/YGlQ6DZhbU

For the rest of the game, the Merc’ with a Mouth offered his iconic color commentary on the happenings of the game. His real-time thoughts on the game covered quite the gambit of game-related content. He empathized with Tom Brady over a hand injury…
Feel ya on the hand thing, Tom. Good thing we both have that mutant healing factor, huh? #DPtheSB #SB52 pic.twitter.com/aRKcNdOt7a

…and even shared some fun fact about Eagles.
.@Eagles make love while they're plunging toward the Earth at terminal velocity. That has nothing to do with the game today. I just thought it was sweet. #DPtheSB #SB52

Even more importantly, he echoed what all of us were thinking when it came to Justin Timberlake’s halftime performance, begging the powers that be for a N’Sync reunion.
Lord, if you can hear me, please: Give us an @NSYNC reunion tonight. #DPtheSB #SB52

And while the we never got that reunion or a super-sneaky Deadpool 2 trailer, it was a lot of fun to get to spend the Super Bowl with our favorite foul-mouthed hero. Even if you were only watching the game for the trailers, commercials, or the half time show, Deadpool knows how to get a digital party started.
