Marvel’s The Defenders isn’t set to hit Netflix for a few more months, but the online streaming platform just released a slew of new promo images that are bound to get you even more excited for the series!
We’ve seen Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter), Matt Murdock’s Daredevil (Charlie Cox), and Danny Rand’s Iron Fist (Finn Jones) take center stage their respective Marvel television series. Next up, fans will get to see these four super humans team up to form a four-piece super group known as The Defenders and save New York City from the forces of evil.
We may have to wait until mid-August to get our hands on episodes of the highly anticipated upcoming series, but on Wednesday (June 21), Netflix took to the internet to whet fans’ appetites for the upcoming Marvel series by releasing brand new key art for the show.
The stunning black and white poster features all four Defenders looking straight on, along with a release date of August 18.
In addition to the brand new poster, Netflix also took to the official Twitter account for The Defenders to share a fun animated image featuring solo shots of all four Defenders.
“There’s no ‘us’ in team. #DEFEND,” tweeted the series along with the fun new promo.
