Not convinced that the Star Wars franchise’s Force For Chance charity campaign deserves your attention? Let Oscar Isaac and BB-8 convince you.
The Force For Change charity campaign launched a brand new initiative this month, with Kathleen Kennedy and Mark Hamill introducing a campaign that lets fans donate to one of several charity organizations, and simultaneously have the chance to win fabulous prizes.
One of these prizes is a signed BB-8 Sphero, introduced in this video by Oscar Isaac (Poe Dameron in Star Wars: The Force Awakens) and BB-8 itself. Watch:
As Isaac explains to BB-8 (and to us! What a swell coincidence), this week, the first four people to donate or raise at least $500 will have a chance to win a Star Wars prize package, including the Sphero, signed by J.J. Abrams and Kathleen Kennedy. (Incidentally, this video also reveals how tiny the Sphero is next to the real BB-8!)
And this week, the top fundraiser has the chance to win a private tour of Lucasfilm, including a screening of their favorite Star Wars movie… Hey, you think the winner could get away with saying their favorite was Episode VIII?!

You can donate to one of the following four charities: The Make-A-Wish Foundation, the American Red Cross, UNICEF, or the Boys and Girls Club of America. More details can be found on the Force For Change donations page.
Good luck if you choose to enter, and awesome job supporting one of these great charities!
