Alice Eve and Bryce Dallas Howard have joined the growing group of A-listers set to guest on Charlie Brooker’s anthology series Black Mirror.
Deadline has learned that Joe Wright is on board to direct an episode of Black Mirror, the critically acclaimed British anthology series which was renewed by Netflix last year.
The episode directed by Joe Wright (Anna Karenina, Atonement and most recently Pan) will reportedly star two big Hollywood actresses: Star Trek‘ Alice Eve, and Jurassic World‘s Bryce Dallas Howard.

It’s not surprising that Netflix is able to hook such big names for this subversive, provocative show. Charlie Brooker’s series tackles big, existential questions surrounding humanity’s increasing dependence on technology, and all seven current episodes have been spectacular.
The first two seasons, only three episodes long each, aired on BBC in 2011 and 2013, with a Christmas Special in 2014.
Previous talents have included Hayley Atwell and Domhnall Gleeson, Rory Kinnear, Lenora Crichlow, Jessica Brown Findlay and Jon Hamm.
One of our favorite episodes, “Be Right Back,” follows Atwell as she attempts to deal with the death of her boyfriend (Gleeson), and in desperation orders a robot designed to perfectly simulate her dead loved one.
We can’t wait to see what Brooker has in store for the Netflix continuation of Black Mirror. And with Alice Eve and Bryce Dallas Howard on board, we know the acting will be spectacular as always.
