Once Upon a Time season 4 is introducing a set of Frozen characters, and now Scott Michael Foster opens up about bringing Kristoff to life!
The Once Upon a Time season 4 premiere “A Tale of Two Sisters” is only three days away, airing this Sunday at 8/7c on ABC!
In the episode we’ll meet Frozen‘s Anna (Elizabeth Lail) and Elsa (Georgina Haig), as well as Anna’s love interest Kristoff (Scott Michael Foster), her would-be suitor Prince Hans (Tyler Jacob Moore), and even Sven the reindeer.

While we are of course very excited to see the sisters in action, we’re also stoked about Kristoff’s casting – the former Greek star seems beyond perfect for the role.
Speaking to Zap2It, Foster has only good things to say about how Once Upon a Time has woven Frozen into its fairytale tapestry.
“I’m surprised with it, and I think that people that watch the show are really going to like their take on it,” Foster says, adding that he’s having “a blast.”
When the season opens, Kristoff (presumably along with Anna) are still in Arendelle, while Elsa is taking Storybrooke by storm.

But Foster does have a Once Upon a Time character he’d like to see Kristoff hang out with. Unsurprisingly, it’s Rumpelstiltskin (Robert Carlyle).
“He’s cool. He’s evil. He has a nice accent,” Foster jokes. “That would be the most fun situation for us to get involved in.”
