Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice set photos continue to hit the web, and today there are some new images of Ben Affleck’s Batmobile.
Update: Zack Snyder has released an official image of the Batmobile, with a hilarious statement targeted at the leaked photographs released earlier today:

Snyder was obviously not pleased with the poor quality images seen below in the set photos released earlier today. The director continues production on Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and we look forward to seeing some more official shots from the film.
The first image from Batman v Superman released by director Zack Snyder revealed a teaser of the newly redesigned Batmobile that Batman will be driving in the Man of Steel sequel.
We later got a decent look at the Batmobile when the first image of Batman was officially released. Now we have some set photos which give us a great look at the more nimble looking Tumbler.
Check out the new Batman v Superman set images (via Instagram) below:
We’re liking Zack Snyder’s new take on the Batmobile. Ben Affleck’s new transportation looks somewhat like a combination of director Tim Burton’s ’90s version combined with Chris Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy’s Tumbler.
The images show a fairly dirty vehicle, so this may be after it’s smashed through a few walls or maybe a building has fallen on it after the destruction we saw in Man of Steel.
It’ll be interesting to see the Batmobile roaming the streets of Gotham(?) again, and it’s exciting to get a better understanding of where director Zack Snyder has decided to take the film’s styling.
We also see how the doors open, which may be influenced by bat wings as they appear to fly upwards as they open. The Batmobile (Tumbler) was a big element in The Dark Knight trilogy and we imagine it’ll play a similar part in Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Warner Bros. has shifted Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’s release date to March 25, 2016.
