Arthur Darvill hasn’t been on Doctor Who for more than a year, but somehow fans just can’t “Let It Go.”
Arthur Darvill stopped by BBC radio to promote the West End musical Once. Darvill performed in Once on Broadway last spring and summer, and now he is reprising the role in the West End production.

After doing the standard interview and singing some of the songs from Once, Darvill did a bit of a send up of his Doctor Who trials and tribulations. He sings of his frustrations post Doctor Who of encountering people who only think of him as Rory.
Everyone in the world seems to be doing their parody rendition of “Let It Go” from the Disney mega-hit movie Frozen. As renditions go, it’s actually not bad as Darvill can sing quite credibly.
Having seen Arthur Darvill on Broadway when he was in Once there, I highly recommend getting tickets to the West End show. Darvill’s roots are in music and theatre, and he is an amazing live performer.
The song itself is very tongue-in-cheek. By all accounts, Darvill has been nothing but gracious with fans who encounter him on the street and recognize him primarily for his former role of Rory Williams in Doctor Who.
