Some fans were a bit skeptical when the first The Wolverine trailer landed due to the fact that Logan appears to gradually lose his powers throughout the film, but the footage we’re seeing today definitely gives us some hope for this film.
Hugh Jackman has certainly kept his end of the deal, as he continues to impress us physically, and director James Mangold (Identity, Walk the Line, 3:10 to Yuma) continues to surprise with his striking use of Japanese culture in contrast with Wolverine’s typical X-Men locations.
The Wolverine, starring Hugh Jackman, Will Yun Lee, Hiroyuki Sanada, Brian Tee, Rila Fukushima, Tao Okamoto and Svetlana Khodchenkova has a release date set for July 26.
