Bryan Singer has tweeted a first look at Jennifer Lawrence reprising her role as Mystique in X-Men: Days of Future Past!
The X-Men director has been releasing numerous first looks via his official Twitter account over the past couple of months.
Check out this first look at Lawrence, who is standing in front of a green screen and waiting for her make up to be applied. Interestingly, Singer said in his tweet that she’s back for a “vengeful” role:
Reports over the past few weeks have indicated that Lawrence was in Montreal, Canada for filming as recently as early May. Lawrence attended a big event for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire at Cannes over the weekend, so we suspect this photo was either taken earlier this month or this morning.
Lawrence brought the latest version of the Mystique character back to life in the 2011 film X-Men: First Class. She plays a younger version of the character than seen in other forms throughout the franchise.
Yesterday, Singer tweeted this great photo of himself and actor Peter Dinklage on a flight to the set as they review the script. Dinklage’s involvement with Days of Future Past was announced earlier this month, but at this time his role is not yet known.
