Before the return of The Mindy Project season 3, episode 12, Hulu has posted an extended clip of this Tuesday’s episode, “Stanford.”
We knew Mindy got into the prestigious Stanford fellowship program in the final moments of The Mindy Project season 3, episode 11 at the end of 2014 a few weeks ago. This Tuesday, we’ll actually see Mindy making the cross-country move.
The three minute clip introduces us, and Mindy, to her first few moments on Stanford’s campus. With Danny dragging her suitcase around, Mindy seems to be under the impression that this program will be akin to reentering college as a freshman.
In a later scene, also in the clip, Mindy and Danny are getting her settled in her dorm room – complete with a “We Can Do It!” Rosie the Riveter poster above her bed. When Danny hears who Mindy’s professor is, he realizes he went to medical school with the guy. He offers to call in a good word for his girlfriend, but Mindy rebuffs his offer – she wants to do this her way.

This Tuesday’s episode of The Mindy Project will guest-star the majorly funny actress, Ana Gasteyer. We don’t know much about her character beyond the following, in the description for above feature photo:
Danny (Chris Messina, L) and Mindy (Mindy Kaling, R) have dinner with Mindy’s professor Rob (guest star Tate Ellington, second from L) and his wife Barbara (guest star Ana Gasteyer, second from R).
The synopsis for ‘Stanford’:
“Mindy heads to Stanford University, where she makes a less-than-stellar first impression in her fellowship class. Meanwhile, back in New York, the practice is determined to win a basketball tournament in the all-new “Stanford” episode of The Mindy Project, airing Tuesday, January 6 at 9:30 p.m. on Fox.”
Judging by this clip above, we are in store for some great episodes of The Mindy Project season 3 in 2015!
