‘Hannibal’ (season 2 spoilers)
LIFE! The Fannibals want life for the characters! Last we saw, almost everyone was dying, their fate unknown. Hopefully it won’t take long for the season to reveal who survives and who dies. Then again, who’s to say the dead will actually be dead?
There were, however, two characters whose mortality is known to us: Hannibal and Bedelia. What we have yet to find out is why Bedelia is on that plane with Hannibal. Is she a hostage? Is she there of her free will? My guess is the latter. But why would she willingly involve herself in Hannibal’s affairs? Only time will tell.
‘Hemlock Grove’
Hemlock is also heading into its final season, and even though season 2 was pretty bad, I thoroughly enjoyed season 1. It’s a shame to think this show only has one more chance to prove itself.
That being said, it’s not hard to improve on season 2. It had a serious lack of Peter/Roman interaction, which is largely what gave season 1 any life. All I’m asking for in season 3 is some good chemistry between the two boys.
A happy ending for Shelley wouldn’t be amiss either.
‘Once Upon a Time’
Speaking of happy endings, next is the show that’s all about fairy tale endings. Unless your name is Regina. Happiness just doesn’t seem to be in her cards, but after three and a half seasons it’s getting old. It’s about time Regina finds love that sticks. She’s come a long way from her Evil Queen days, and she deserves to be rewarded.
The identity of the Once Upon a Time book’s author also feels like it’s been a long time coming. Fortunately, it seems this is the season where we will finally find out who wrote it.
‘Orphan Black’ (season 2 spoilers)
The biggest questions for the Clone Club surround Project Castor. Namely, what is it, and how does it affect Project Leda?
But we’re also desperate to know what happened to some of the Leda clones. Is Rachel dead? Or is Proclone turning Pirateclone, and just looking for an eyepatch? Who took Helena, and where are they taking her? More importantly, will she be well fed?
‘Sherlock’
Sherlock fans are very easy to please. What we want is very simple.
Anything.
Fortunately, in just under a year we will be treated to a whole new episode! Hold tight Sherlockians, your patience will be rewarded in due time!
‘Sleepy Hollow’
Less Katrina ,please and thanks. She’s terribly boring, and her relationship with Ichabod feels a little forced. If she can’t die, pull a Morgana and turn her evil. Maybe then she’ll be interesting.
While we’re at it, fill all Katrina moments with Jenny. Jenny is great. We like Jenny. Why isn’t there more Jenny? Her relationship with Abbie feels genuine, and she’s entertaining with Ichabod, too.
Sleepy Hollow season 2, part 1 is definitely a lesson in how to anger your fans. Other shows, take note.
‘Teen Wolf’
Danny Mahealani.
Where is good ol’ Danny? It seems that introducing a slew of new characters was more important than showing an old favorite even once. For an entire season. Last we saw Danny he revealed that he knows about werewolves. How does he know? When will the others find out he knows? Why has he never said anything? We are long overdue for a Danny appearance and answers to some of these questions.
Also, can Kate just stay dead already?
‘The Walking Dead’
I am most looking forward to a Rick/Morgan reunion. Even more so, what kind of person is Morgan now? What will he think of the new Rick? By the time Morgan catches up, what kind of Rick will he meet? Lately we’ve been seeing a much more aggressive Rick Grimes. Shoot first, ask questions later. One strike and you’re out. It looks like it’s not much longer until Rick becomes the new Governor. I won’t lie though; I’ve been hoping for it.
