Tina Fey and Amy Poehler hosted the 2015 Golden Globe Awards live on NBC Sunday night, and the show held several interesting surprises.
This year’s Globes offered several new shows their time in the spotlight. The CW won their first Golden Globe ever thanks to freshman dramedy Jane the Virgin. Showtime’s new drama The Affair, which has struggled to find an audience, picked up two big wins including the coveted Best Drama award. Meanwhile, Amazon’s new series Transparent won two awards including Best Actor in a Comedy for star Jeffrey Tambor.
