Paramount has released a new Anchorman 2 poster depicting San Diego’s finest news team in New York City.
The poster is unique in that the men are actually larger than life as they tower over Manhattan. They move to the city in Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues to begin working at a 24-hour news network. Behind them we can see New York’s iconic Chrysler Building on the left and the Empire State Building on the right. As usual, Brick looks a tad lost and unaware of what the other men are doing.
Read’s Anchorman 2’s synopsis, “With the 70’s behind him, San Diego’s top rated newsman, Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell), returns to the news desk in Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues. Also back for more are Ron’s co-anchor and wife, Veronica Corningstone (Christina Applegate), weather man Brick Tamland (Steve Carell), man on the street Brian Fantana (Paul Rudd) and sports guy Champ Kind (David Koechner) – All of whom won’t make it easy to stay classy…while taking the country’s first 24-hour news channel by storm.”
The film hits theaters December 20. Earlier this week we were treated to a trailer with all-new footage. At the same link you can find Ben & Jerry’s new ice cream flavor inspired by Ron Burgundy called “Scotchy Scotch Scotch.”
