Another song from The Hunger Games: Catching Fire soundtrack has surfaced: “Elastic Heart” by Sia, featuring The Weekend and Diplo.
The upbeat, electronic track features Sia on lead vocals and is one of our favorites so far from the movie compilation. You can listen to Coldplay’s “Atlas,” Christina Aguilera’s “We Remain,” and The Lumineers’ “Gale Song” at the respective links.
“Elastic Heart” by Sia lyrics
Verse)
And another one bites the dust
But why can I not conquer love?
And I might’ve got to be with one
Why not fight this war without weapons
And I want it and I want everything
But there was so many red flags
Now another one bites the dust
And let’s be clear, I trust no one(Pre-Chorus)
You cannot break me
I’m still fighting for this(Chorus)
Well I’ve got a thick skin and an elastic heart
But yours baby might get too sharp
I’m like the weather burning, baby I’m too hard
But I missed him and I move close Article Continues BelowBut you won’t see me move no more
‘Cause I’ve got an elastic heartI’ve got an elastic heart
Yea, I’ve got an elastic heart(Verse)
And now I step through the night
Let’s be clear, won’t close my eyes
And I know that I can’t survive
I walked too far to save my life
And I want it, I want my life so bad
I’m doing everything I can
Then another one bites the dust
It’s hard to lose a chosen one(Pre-Chorus)
You cannot break me
I’m still fighting for this(Chorus)
Well I’ve got a thick skin and an elastic heart
But yours baby might get too sharp
I’m like the weather burning, baby I’m too hard
But I missed him and I move closeBut you won’t see me move no more
‘Cause I’ve got an elastic heart(Chorus)
Well I’ve got a thick skin and an elastic heart
But yours baby might get too sharp
I’m like the weather burning, baby I’m too hard
But I missed him and I move closeBut you won’t see me move no more
‘Cause I’ve got an elastic heart
You won’t see me move no more
‘Cause I’ve got an elastic heartI’ve got an elastic heart
