Supernatural stars Misha Collins and Mark Sheppard remind you to watch the show on its new night this fall: Tuesdays.
After Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles — also joined by Sheppard — promoted Supernatural‘s move to Tuesdays, Collins and Sheppard teamed up in another exclusive Facebook video.
While Padalecki and Ackles portrayed themselves rather than their characters in their promo (Sheppard played his demonic alter ego), Collins and Sheppard are completely in character for the entire video. And the result is absolutely delightful.
Sheppard as Crowley opens the video introducing himself “for those of you who’ve been under a rock or sacred tablet.” Collins as Castiel then appears to reprimand him, saying, “No need for blasphemy.”
“Reminding you to watch the all new season of Supernatural on an all new night — Tuesdays,” Crowley continues. Castiel then assures the viewer that Crowley “does speak the truth” about that.
“Do this for me and I’ll give you my eternal thanks.” However, according to Castiel, Crowley’s gratitude “is not something you want.”
“The only thing you have to give in return? You guessed it,” Crowley adds, seemingly ignoring Castiel. “Your soul. No biggie.”
Castiel looks appalled as he responds, “That’s a very big biggie.”
“Please,” Crowley retorts, peering into the camera. “Judging by the looks of you, there’s not much of a soul anyway.”
“Do not listen to this man,” Castiel counters. “Except about the Tuesday thing. That you should listen to,” he adds before sharing a closing look with Crowley.
We’re loving all the promotional material we’re getting in the weeks leading up to the season premiere, particularly the humorous material such as this snark-filled video since the premiere promises to be intense.
Supernatural season 9 premieres Tuesday, October 8 at 9:00 p.m. ET on The CW.
