Coming off one of its best episodes ever, last night’s Breaking Bad season 5, episode 15’s ratings achieved a series high.
Breaking Bad pulled in 6.6 million viewers, which is up from last Sunday’s 6.4 million viewers. In the demos, the show scored 4.3 million viewers in the 18-49 range and 3.7 million in the 25-54 range. Those too are series highs.
The feat is particularly impressive given that Breaking Bad was up against the Dexter season finale, the Emmys, and Sunday Night Football last night. Next week’s Breaking Bad series finale should once again score major ratings and perhaps set another record.
The fifth and final season was off to a great start this summer when the first episode of the season’s second half also nabbed record ratings.
You can read our recap of last night’s episode in our previous story.
Sunday’s series finale will be 75 minutes long just like yesterday’s episode, so plan accordingly!
Thanks to Deadline for the numbers.
