Director Michael Bay’s Transformers 4 title has been revealed, along with the first teaser poster for the film.
Transformers 4’s official title will be Transformers: Age of Extinction. Ironic considering it was recently revealed by one of the film’s producers that the film will involve “Dinobots” after rumors had spread online about dinosaurs being involved in the plot.
A press release seen back in November revealed that Michael Bay will direct the Transformers: Age of Extinction. The script has been written by Ehren Kruger, who wrote the previous two Transformers installments.
The film’s first official poster has also been released, which features the film’s logo along with a partial transformer emblem. Click on the poster below to view it in HD:
We’ve seen some of the new cars which will be featured in the new film, as well as a new Bumblebee and Optimus Prime. While the last Transformer’s film was poorly received, we’re interested in seeing where Michael Bay goes with new actors and Dinobots.
Mark Wahlberg will star in the film, along with Nicola Peltz, T.J. Miller, Sophia Myles, Li Bingbing, Jack Reynor, and Kelsey Grammer. They have been shooting the film for the last few months and its intended release date is June 27, 2014.
