Read the description for the fourth The Vampire Diaries episode of season 4, entitled “The Five”! Damon, Elena and Bonnie visit a college… and crash a party.
The premiere of The Vampire Diaries‘ fourth season is tonight, people! But The CW is already way ahead of us, having just released the description for episode 4×04:
A FRAT PARTY AND A FLASHBACK TO 12TH CENTURY ITALY — Damon (Ian Somerhalder) goes with Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Bonnie (Kat Graham) to visit Whitmore College, where Professor Shane (guest star David Alpay, “The Borgias”) is taking over the Occult Studies classes formerly taught by Bonnie’s grandmother. At a fraternity costume party, Damon takes advantage of the wild scene to give Elena a lesson in choosing a victim. Rebekah’s (Claire Holt) attempt to buy Matt’s (Zach Roerig) forgiveness falls flat, but she is intrigued by unexpected news from Klaus (Joseph Morgan). When Stefan (Paul Wesley) questions Klaus about Connor’s (guest star Todd Williams) motives, Klaus reveals a long-ago encounter with a powerful group of vampire hunters, but it’s Rebekah who delivers the information that stuns Stefan.
It sounds like Elena will be buying into Damon’s way of vampirism for a while, doesn’t it? We’re glad to hear she’s hanging out with Bonnie though – sounds like the vampire-hating witch hasn’t quite given up on her best friend after all!
We’ll also get another flashback, which is always fun. Thanks to the earlier news that Paul Telfer will be guest starring in this episode, we know that the flashback will center heavily on Rebekah, and reveal a lot more about her character.
The Vampire Diaries‘ season 4 premiere episode “Growing Pains” airs tonight at 8/7c on The CW! It’ll feature Stefan, Bonnie and Jeremy fighting to prevent Elena from completing the transition into a vampire (though we’re willing to bet that they fail, considering what the actors have revealed), while Klaus takes full advantage of being in Tyler’s body. We can’t wait!
