It’s always interesting to see what new goodies established publishers can offer us in addition to the usual sequels of old franchises. At Gamescom, Capcom has given us a glimpse of Remember Me, an intriguing-looking game set in Neo-Paris in 2084, where memories are ruthlessly traded.
The third-person action-adventure game, whose working title was Adrift, has the player take on the role of Nilin, who previously worked as a memory “hunter,” before her own memories were wiped clean. The storyline looks to follow her path as she attempts to piece her past life back together.
Remember Me is being developed by French developer Dontnod Entertainment and will be published by Capcom. It is scheduled to release in May 2013 on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
