Lionsgate announced earlier this week that The Hunger Games: Catching Fire production is well underway, and a new on-set photo obtained by Hypable depicts a near-complete Justice Building in Georgia.

Out of respect for the film’s production crew we’re choosing not to reveal the exact location, but we will say that this set is located roughly thirty minutes east of Atlanta. The Justice Building looks about ready for cameras and stars, save for the staging area out front where a reaping will be held. There is plenty of room in front of the building for all of the Districts’ inhabitants to stand and watch as two of their own are taken by the Capitol.

A photo from the set of Catching Fire depicts one of the Justice Buildings

Any guesses as to exactly which Justice Building this could be? Whichever District this one is for, we do know that it will play a pivotal role in the story’s Quarter Quell reaping.

Earlier today we shared on set photos of Sam Claflin and Josh Hutcherson outside of their trailers on a Catching Fire set in Georgia. The photos provided our first look at Claflin nearly in his Finnick role.

The District 12 Justice Building was one of the first sets we saw being constructed for The Hunger Games during that film’s production in May of last year.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire will hit theaters November 22, 2013. Lionsgate has been steadily announcing new cast members joining the franchise to take on new roles introduced in Suzanne Collins’ Catching Fire novel. Newcomers include Jeffrey Wright as Beetee, Jena Malone as JohannaAmanda Plummer as WiressPhilip Seymour Hoffman as PlutarchLynn Cohen as Mags, Meta Golding as EnobariaBruno Gunn as Brutus, Alan Ritchson as Gloss, E. Roger Mitchell as Chaff, and Stephanie Leigh Schlung as Cashmere. Filming is ongoing through December of this year in Atlanta and Hawaii.

Could this possibly be District 11 (being the most crucial one)? Or, more likely, they’ll just change how it looks slightly and use it for all the districts.

I was under the impression that the capital built all the Justice Buildings, so I would expect them all to be identical with the exception of the emblem and maybe some minor wear and tear being different for each one.

This is awesome. There are more set photos of the other tributes. Nothing too wild, they are just hanging around on set (their trailers) in robes covering up what I assume is the tribute outfit.

I love all the new set stills! A picture a day keeps The Hunger Games meltdown away :)

I have to say that Atlanta was the WORST place I have ever lived and I was so glad to leave after I graduated from college. Now all of the best shows are filming in that hell hole! What gives!

This is obviously the District 11 Justice Building from the victory tour….I wonder when they’re gonna film those scenes.

D11 Justice building isn’t this one. Probably D4.
