Shazam star Zachary Levi and Riverdale ’s Cole Sprouse will soon be sharing the silver screen together!

On Tuesday (February 11), Zachary Levi took to Instagram to reveal that his next project is titled Undercover and will star himself as well as Cole Sprouse.

In addition, the caption also offered up some more information with regards to who else is involved with Undercover thus far– including word that Steve Pink (High Fidelity, Hot Tub Time Machine), would officially be serving as the film’s director.

“So Stoked to announce my latest project ‘Undercover,’ starring (so far) the uber talented Cole Sprouse and myself, and to be directed by my pal Steve Pink,” wrote Levi in the caption of a photo featuring title artwork for the movie. “Y’all, this is gonna be a real humdinger!”

In addition, Levi also went on to thank studios behind the project Lionsgate, Mandeville Films, as well as Mandeville boss Todd Lieberman, all of whom are involved behind the scenes.

“It’s gonna be chock full of heart, humor and some of the most iconic tunes of the last 50 years that I get to SING,” continued Levi. “Let’s party.”

A report via Deadline offered up some addition details with regards to what we can expect from the upcoming music-led family comedy.

According to the outlet, Undercover centers on Jack (Levi)– a father who opts to secretly join a wedding cover band compiled of young musicians (lead by Sprouse’s Ben) in an effort to make ends meet.

It’s no secret that Levi himself can carry a tune, so we’re sure fans of the actor will be incredibly excited to see him show off his vocals when Undercover premieres.

Currently, there’s no word with regards to when we can expect Undercover to hit theaters.
