Watch the exciting new Super Bowl trailer for Transformers: Age of Extinction, starring Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz, T.J. Miller, Sophia Myles, Li Bingbing, Jack Reynor, and Kelsey Grammer.

Transformers: Age of Extinction’s 2014 Super Bowl trailer is the first footage we’ve seen from the fourth Transformers movie. Michael Bay is back with many explosions as Wahlberg and co. fight alongside the Autobots to defeat the Decepticons. Watch the sequel’s trailer below:

The film’s first official poster was released back in September, which featured the film’s logo along with a partial transformer emblem. Not much is known about the film except that Dinobots will be featured, and while it’s a sequel, it’s looking more like a restart for the franchise.

The dinobots definitely showed up in the trailer and they look to be an essential part of the film. We’re unsure about the actors, as Wahlberg and Peltz are the only ones actually featured, so it’ll be interesting to see if the entire film is centered around Wahlberg and not the younger actors.

The Autobots and Decepticons have been revamped and look a little more organic in their natural, alien form. The cars that they transform into have also gotten a makeover, with some of the cars being revealed over the last couple months. We look forward to seeing how the franchise made popular by Shia Labeouf and Megan fox turns out this June.

Michael Bay directed the fourth Transformers film from a script by Ehren Kruger, who wrote the previous two Transformers installments. Mark Wahlberg will star in the film, along with Nicola Peltz, T.J. Miller, Sophia Myles, Li Bingbing, Jack Reynor, and Kelsey Grammer. The film’s release date is set for June 27, 2014 from Paramount Pictures.
