Even though we’re just about to finish the first season of Veronica Mars on our ReWatchable podcast, it’s still not too late to join in. Whether you’re a super fan or a newbie, we’d love to have you join us.

For those of you who have never seen the show, Veronica Mars was a smart, thought-provoking TV show that was cancelled far before its time. However, even though it was cancelled back in 2007, its fanbase has been growing steadily over the years. The show’s growing popularity, as well as the upcoming Veronica Mars Movie, prompted us to make Veronica Mars the topic of the next round of our ReWatchable podcast.

Enough with the background information. Here’s what you should know: We want you to rewatch with us. Yes, we’ve just about finished up the first season. However, we still have two more seasons to go, plus a movie. That means you have more than enough time to jump on board. Besides, the first season of Veronica Mars in particular is prime for binge-watching. Trust us. Some of us know from experience.

Still not sure if you want to watch (or rewatch) Veronica Mars with us? Here are a few reasons why we think you should, especially if you’re a newbie/non-Marshmallow.

‘Veronica Mars’ is entertaining

We’re telling you right now that you can’t not laugh when watching an episode of Veronica Mars. Veronica is such a witty, relatable character who always has something up her sleeve. Because she’s a private eye, she goes undercover quite a lot and takes on some pretty interesting character disguises. One of our personal favorites is “Gamergirl.” If you watch with us, you’ll know exactly what we’re talking about! You’ll especially enjoy the witty banter that goes on between all of the characters. It’s honestly priceless.

‘Veronica Mars’ has a great cast of characters

Nobody in Neptune is who they seem to be. The characters in the show all have different layers that become more and more apparent as the series goes on. Though the show takes place in an affluent California town, none of the characters act in a stereotypical manner. The gang leader is quick-witted and intelligent. The school’s “obligatory psychotic jackass” becomes more relatable and sympathetic as time goes on. Veronica Mars is as compelling as it is thanks in large part to its strong cast of characters.

There are so many fun celebrity guest stars

There are a ton of fun appearances by now-famous celebrities. And by celebrities, we mean TV and movie celebrities. People you’d know. Because Veronica Mars was on the air from 2004-2007, a ton of the guest stars that show up were either famous at the time or just about to become famous. We don’t want to ruin some of surprise guests, but we will say that fans of Breaking Bad or Gossip Girl will definitely see familiar faces. Playing “Spot the Celeb” is one of our favorite games on our podcast. You should join us.

‘Veronica Mars’ is totally shippable

It’s not a spoiler to tell you that Veronica doesn’t really have many girl friends in her life. Through no real fault of her own (except for standing by her father’s side), Veronica becomes an outcast at her high school. As the series progresses, she seems to get along best with the guys at her school rather than the girls. As a result, it’s not difficult to start shipping her with some of the male characters, either actively or subconsciously. Even though she is a whole character by herself and doesn’t need a boyfriend or other character to complete her, shipping her with other characters is fun and definitely entertaining.

We have a BroTP that we think you’ll really like

If you’ve never seen the show, we won’t tell you the names or personalities of our BroTP, but we pretty much guarantee that if you start watching with us, you’ll definitely be on board. Our BroTP steals scenes and evokes verbal reactions from us as we watch. They’re so perfect that they practically finish each other’s sentences. We have a “favorite line/favorite scene” segment on our podcast for each Veronica Mars episode we discuss and, whenever our BroTP appears in the episodes, they’re always mentioned in some way or another on that segment. Start watching Veronica Mars with us, and who knows, maybe they’ll become your favorite BroTP of all time.

We make for pretty good TV-watching company

Not to brag, but we’re a blast to watch (or rewatch) Veronica Mars with. Every podcast episode is full of jokes, laughter, crazy allusions, and tons of gushing over our favorite characters. We know how difficult it can be to persuade your friends to start watching a TV show with you. Having to nag them to keep up with episodes or even start a new show takes a lot of energy. By watching with us, there’s no convincing needed. Plus, you don’t have to keep any of your feels to yourself because there are so many ways for you to interact and discuss with us. What could be better than that? We’re the best group of people you could ever watch (or rewatch) with.

P.s. Kristen Bell tweeted at us about Veronica Mars. So we’re pretty much awesome.

So, what we’re trying to say is that we’d love for you to (re)watch ‘Veronica Mars’ with us. Won’t you join us on our ReWatchable podcast?
