Titans season 3 has found its newest cast member in Jay Lycurgo.

According to Variety, Jay Lycurgo is the newest actor to join the cast of Titans season 3.

The hit DC series was originally a DC Universe original series, with the former streaming platform having originally renewed the show for a third season back in November 2019. When DC Universe switched gears in September 2020, however, HBO Max swooped in and picked up its original scripted series— including Titans, which will now debut its third season via the streaming platform.

Lycurgo will take on the role of Tim Drake— a name that fans of the Batman comics specifically, will likely be all too familiar with given that Tim Drake eventually goes on to serve as Batman’s Robin, becoming the third to take up the mantle.

In Titans season 3, Tim Drake is described as “a streetwise kid who’s managed to grow up on the toughest streets without losing his incredible belief in heroism.” Drake is also described as being a natural detective with a near-genius mind.

Lycurgo joins actress Savannah Welch, who also recently joined the cast of the series’ third season. She’ll be taking on the role of Barbara Gordon— Gotham City’s new police wheelchair bound police commissioner. Barbara also used to moonlight as Batgirl before the Joker shot and paralyzed her.

Currently, there’s no word one when we can expect to see Titans season 3 debut via HBO Max
