DC Universe’s Harley Quinn animated adult comedy series is coming back for season 3— this time at its brand new home with HBO Max.
According to Deadline, HBO Max has officially picked up DC Universe’s Harley Quinn series for a season 3.
News of the adult animated comedy series finding a new home with HBO Max comes as DC Universe announced plans on Friday (September 18) to evolve into DC Universe Infinite.
As part of the transition, the platform will shift from a streaming service with original content over to a premium digital comic book service, which is set to launch on January 21, 2021.

In addition to revealing that DC Universe Infinite would be home to more than 24,000 comic books at launch, the platform also announced that HBO Max would officially be the new home for premium video content— including new DC series, key DC classics, and DC Universe originals.
DC Universe original series already gearing up to take flight and hop on over to HBO Max include: Young Justice season 1-4, Titans seasons 1-3, Doom Patrol seasons 1-3, DC’s Stargirl season 1, and of course, the adult animated comedy series, Harley Quinn.
In addition to the series’ forthcoming third season, seasons 1 and 2 of the animated adult comedy will also soon be available via the streaming platform.
Starring Kaley Cuoco (The Big Bang Theory), the animated comedy centers on the newly single titular anti-heroine as she sets off to make it on her own in Gotham City.
Currently, there’s no word on when we can expect Harley Quinn season 3 to debut via HBO Max.
