The graphic novel adaptation of Rick Riordan’s Throne of Fire is being released today. Will you be picking up a copy?

Graphic novel adaptations of Rick Riordan’s mythological works have slowly been coming to life over the years, and Throne of Fire is the next to get the treatment.

Throne of Fire is the second book in the Kane Chronicles series about Sadie and Carter Kane and their connection to various Egyptian deities. The official synopsis reads, “In this exciting second installment of the three-book series, Carter and Sadie, offspring of the brilliant Egyptologist Dr. Julius Kane, embark on a worldwide search for the Book of Ra, but the House of Life and the gods of chaos are determined to stop them.”

Adapted by Orpheus Collar, The Throne of Fire follows in the footsteps of The Red Pyramid, the first in the series, which was also previously illustrated by Collar.

You can see the front and back covers below, as well as the full-size wraparound art.

The graphic novel is available today in hardcover, paperback, and eBook format. It is 160 pages long. You can add it to your Goodreads list, or order it from Amazon or IndieBound.

Just in case you forgot (yeah right), The Sword of Summer also releases today, marking the first installment of Riordan’s new series centering around nose mythology, titled Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard.
