The Walking Dead has been a must-watch TV series on AMC since it debuted in 2010. Though interest from fans has waned over the years, due in part to numerous character deaths, the series remains one of the top rated shows on TV.
Currently in its ninth season, The Walking Dead has strayed more and more from the comics. It’s left fans with an entity that stands on its own as AMC looks to expand the series to original movies for some of the fan favorites. The first spinoff film will star Rick Grimes.

On the next episode of The Walking Dead the group finds a wagon that’s clearly been searched through and immediately worry the Whisperers are to blame! TWD season 9, episode 15, “The Calm Before,” will air on March 24, 2019.
The Walking Dead season 9 premiered on October 7, 2018 and airs weekly on Sunday at 9 p.m. ET on AMC! It is available for streaming via the AMC app and via the network’s website. AMC occasionally allows new episodes to be streamed for free without any cable credentials.

‘The Walking Dead’ in memoriam
Rick: Technically Rick isn’t dead, everyone just thinks he is. After being wounded while trying to escape a horde of walkers, Rick sacrificed himself to blow up a bridge and stop them from getting to the communities. He didn’t die though — Jadis actually had him picked up by a chopper to whisk him away to somewhere unknown.
Gregory: Gregory was finally killed off when Maggie decided to have him publicly hanged after he tried to plan her murder.
Jesus: In a case of an actor getting tired of not having his character written well, Tom Payne decided to leave The Walking Dead. His character was killed off after being stabbed by a whisperer.
