There is no new episode of The Vampire Diaries this week, but luckily TV Line has released a few tantalizing spoilers about what’s coming up – specifically for some of our Originals, who the show is preparing to ship off to New Orleans to star in The Originals spinoff which The CW will hopefully pick up for the 2013 fall season!
First of all, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) will be hooking up with someone before leaving the show, and while Julie Plec is refusing to give any details, we do now know that the scene will happen in the next episode, 4×16 “Bring it On” (airing March 14), and she also teases that, “I will say that Joseph Morgan has some tattoos that I didn’t know he had until shooting this scene.”
Wait, could Klaus be hooking up with… the newly humanity-less Elena?! Because that would be bizarre.
Meanwhile, Elijah (Daniel Gillies) is heading back to Mystic Falls before joining Klaus in New Orleans. Plec reveals that with his reappearance, “we finally get a sense of what he’s been doing during his whole absence from our world.”
Finally, the showrunner also confirms that we will indeed “meet the real Silas.” Which suggests that the real Silas is not, in fact, a clone/doppelganger of Shane as had been theorized.
