While The CW has already announced that Supernatural, The Vampire Diaries and freshman show Arrow will return in the fall of 2013, the fate of the network’s remaining drama series are still up in the air. Nikita seems likely to return as well, but so far nothing has been definitively decided.
Have you enjoyed the new series The Carrie Diaries, Cult and Beauty and the Beast? Hopefully they’ll all get a second chance to shine – but The CW has to make some cuts somewhere, considering that they will need to make room for some of the new dramas being considered for the fall season.
One of the most anticipated CW pilot projects is The Selection, which has been given a second chance after the network rejected the original pilot ahead of the 2012 season. There is also Oxygen (a teen drama about a girl who falls in love with an alien) Company Town (a new military drama by former Supernatural EP Sera Gamble), The Tomorrow People (an ambiguous Heroes-esque project helmed by Chuck, Nikita, Arrow and The Vampire Diaries writers), Reign, The Hundred, Blink, and of course the Klaus-centric spin-off of The Vampire Diaries, tentatively titled The Originals. So The CW will have their work cut out for them trying to choose!
