Beyonce fans will soon be able to sink their teeth into a brand new single she’s been working on for Disney’s The Lion King.

When The Lion King hits theaters next week, fans will be treated to new takes on some classic Disney hits.

But mainstays like “Hakuna Matata” and “I Just Can’t Wait To Be King” aren’t the only songs fans can look forward to checking out later this month.

It turns out Beyonce’s been hard at work producing and curating a whole new album centered around the film.

Announced via the film’s official Twitter account, the forthcoming album is called The Lion King: The Gift and is set to drop on the same day the movie comes out in theaters.

The Lion King: The Gift, an album featuring global artists and steeped in the sounds of Africa, produced and curated by Beyonce Knowles-Carter, will release 7/19,” tweeted the account on Tuesday (July 9) afternoon.”

In addition, the tweet also mentioned that the album single “Spirit” by Beyonce would be dropping later on Tuesday night.

We’ve known for quite some time that in addition to lending her voice to the character of Nala, Beyonce would be working on new music for Disney’s latest live-action endeavor.

That being said, the fact that Queen Bey’s been working on curating an entire concept album centered around the film is definitely a pleasant surprise!

We can’t wait to listen to Beyonce’s “Spirit” when it drops later on tonight!
