Tom Felton will not be a series regular in The Flash season 4.

Felton, who was a series regular in The Flash season 3, has not yet booked a return to the show, reports EW. Felton did not attend San Diego Comic-Con, and his character, Julian Albert, was not present in the season 4 trailer.

Julian arrived in season 3 as a result of Flashpoint, the alternate universe Barry created by going back in time and saving his mother from the Reverse Flash. The two initially butted heads, and it was revealed that Julian was Savitar’s servant Alchemy.

However, he was unknowingly working for the god of speed. He and Barry mended fences, and Julian joined Team Flash. Julian and Caitlin were also working toward a romantic relationship when she became Killer Frost.

At the end of The Flash‘s third season, Caitlin had left the team to learn to control her powers and Barry had entered the Speed Force to balance out the chaos he had created.

The Flash season 4 will pick up six months after the events of the season 3 finale, and it looks like Julian will have left the team during the time jump. Nothing has been ruled out about future appearances, though, depending on the story direction and Felton’s availability.

The Flash season 4 premieres Tuesday, October 10 at 8:00 p.m. ET on The CW.
