The summer casting shake-ups continue in the Arrowverse, as The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow promote new series regulars.

The Flash has promoted Jessica Parker Kennedy — who was revealed to play Barry and Iris’ daughter, Nora, from the future — to series regular for season 5, per EW.

Kennedy first appeared as a guest at Barry and Iris’ ill-fated wedding before recurring throughout the season by interacting with different members of Team Flash.

She was revealed to be a speedster with lightning the color of Barry and Iris. And in the season finale, she helped Barry stop a satellite that was falling to Earth. However, she revealed herself, declaring she had made a big mistake and needed her parents’ help in solving it.

Kennedy joins Hartley Sawyer (Ralph Dibney) and Danielle Nicolet (Cecile Horton) as new regulars in The Flash season 5.

Additionally, Legends of Tomorrow has promoted Courtney Ford — who also plays a Nora, though she is Nora Darhk, Damien’s daughter — to series regular for season 4, per Deadline.

In season 3, Nora helped the demon Mallus resurrect her father; the two then served him to free him from his time in prison. However, Nora was fated to be his vessel, which would kill her. Damien sacrificed himself to save her life. She was arrested by the Time Bureau, but Ray, who she had grown closer to, provided her the means to escape.

Ford is married in real life to Brandon Routh (Ray Palmer), so the show having them become closer over the season has been a humorous nod to their relationship.

Ford joins Matt Ryan (John Constantine) and Jes Macallan (Ava Sharpe) as new regulars in Legends of Tomorrow season 4. Keiynan Lonsdale (Wally West), on the other hand, won’t be returning as a regular.
