The CW has released its 2015 fall schedule. One major improvement: finally, The Vampire Diaries and The Originals will air on the same night.

Update: Watch the first trailer for the Arrow / Flash spinoff Legends of Tomorrow!

Hiatus season is upon us (seriously, you guys, what will we do with ourselves?! At least we’ve still got Netflix), but the TV networks are already planning for the fall season.

With most returning and cancelled series now accounted for, we’re only waiting on a few more fall schedules before we can make DVR plans. And today, The CW has released its full plan for the 2015 fall season.

A few shows have been swapped around and paired in new and interesting ways; most notably, The Originals is shifting to Thursdays to air straight after its flagship show The Vampire Diaries.

Reign is moving to Fridays for season 3, while iZombie is returning in the fall to air Tuesday nights after The Flash. All good news.

Unfortunately, however, there’s a longer wait than expected for The 100 fans. While the show originally debuted as a mid-season replacement, season 2 premiered in October 2014, and we were expecting season 3 to stay in The CW’s fall season line-up.

That, evidently, won’t be the case: The CW revealed today that The 100 will be moving back to its mid-season slot, with season 3 premiering in the spring of 2016.

Here’s The CW’s full fall line-up schedule:

MONDAY

8/7c — Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (new)
9/8c — Jane the Virgin

TUESDAY

8/7c — The Flash
9/8c — iZombie

WEDNESDAY

8/7c — Arrow
9/8c — Supernatural

THURSDAY

8/7c — The Vampire Diaries
9/8c — The Originals

FRIDAY

8/7c — Reign
9/8c — America’s Next Top Model

As evidenced, The CW is banking on its existing shows this season, with very few new shows picked up.

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend is the fall season’s only new addition, with Arrow/Flash spin-off Legends Of Tomorrow premiering in spring 2016. Watch the trailer for Legends of Tomorrow!

The mid-season will also introduce Julie Plec’s new series Containment, and bring back Beauty and the Beast along with The 100.
