Looks like The Boys could soon be getting a spinoff over at Amazon Prime!
According to Deadline, Amazon has fast-tracked a new series from executive producer Craig Rosenberg that would serve as a spinoff to the streamer’s popular superhero series, The Boys.
Word of the spinoff comes as the series’ second season premiere became the most-watched global launch of an Amazon Original series ever.
The success of The Boys season 2 follows the equally successful launch of the series’ first season, which debuted to high viewership ratings when it first dropped via Amazon Prime back in 2019.
News of the spinoff also comes hot on the heels of Amazon announcing that it has already renewed the comic book adaptation for a third season.

So what can we expect from the proposed spinoff?
Described as “part Hunger Games— with all the heart, satire, and raunch of The Boys,” the untitled series is set in America’s only college exclusively for young adult superheroes— an establishment that also happens to be run by Vought International. The show will “explore the lives of hormonal, competitive Supes as they put their physical, sexual, and moral boundaries to the test, competing for the best contracts in the best cities.”
Behind the camera, The Boys executive producer Craig Rosenberg is set to write the pilot in addition to serving as executive producer and showrunner on the spinoff. Meanwhile, fellow Boys vets Erik Kripke, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, and James Weaver will also serve as executive producers on the spinoff.
New episodes of The Boys drop Friday on Amazon Prime.
