The Big Bang Theory has certainly never lacked for romantic exploits, but it looks like a another variable will soon be thrown into the equation to make an even number out of the gang. Spoilers ahoy.

It seems like love is finally (finally) on the way for Raj! According to The Hollywood Reporter, actress Kate Micucci has been signed on to The Big Bang Theory for a multiple-episode arc. Micucci will play Lucy, a potential love interest for the perpetually-single Raj (Kunal Nayyar) and will make her first appearance in this year’s much-anticipated Valentine’s Day episode, “The Tangible Affection Proof.”

Micucci has previously been seen on Raising Hope and Scrubs. She is part of the musical comedy duo Garfunkle and Oates with Riki Lindhome – who incidentally guested on The Big Bang Theory as a psychotic assistant to Sheldon in “The Cooper-Nowitzki Theorem.” Micucci certainly has the comic chops for The Big Bang Theory, and it’s about time that poor Raj found the ying to his yang, if indeed that is what Lucy will be. We can’t wait to see how this romance develops…assuming that Raj survives the imminent alcohol poisoning.

The Big Bang Theory will return from hiatus tomorrow evening with “The Cooper/Kripke Inversion” – check out this promo and sneak-peak for a few more hints at what’s to come.

CBS says:

Sheldon is forced to work with Barry Kripke and faces a crisis of confidence. Meanwhile, Howard and Raj spend $1,000 on action figures of themselves.

And next week, “The Spoiler Alert Segmentation” will air.

When Sheldon and Leonard fight, it affects Penny and Amy’s living arrangements. Meanwhile, Raj takes care of Mrs. Wolowitz while Howard is away.

Do you think lonesome Raj will finally get the girl?
